WHEN: August 16 & 17, 2016, during "Concours" and "Vintage Race" week. Public access is 10am to 6 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please contact us directly for set-up arrangements.
WHERE: The Ballroom of The Embassy Suites, conveniently located on US1, just north of 68 [the road going to Laguna Seca & Salinas]; easy access and plenty of free parking. Please note that ALL access is at ground level as well as a truck loading dock. Once again, Embassy Suites is happy to host this event and is prepared to assist us in any way possible.
WHY: Based upon the very successful Retro-Mobile and Techno-Classica, Automobilia Monterey , 14th international expo, brings together, in America, the finest dealers in automotive memorabilia. The timing of this event is specifically set not to conflict with others during the most important automotive week of the year. If you plan to attend or exhibit at other venues, this will allow you flexibility as well as provide a focused venue on memorabilia instead of just an 'add-on'.
WHAT: ONLY VINTAGE items. Please, no reproductions or dirty parts. The focus of this event is purely memorabilia and automotive related original items ... such as posters, photographs, rallye plates, badges & pins, mascots & hood ornaments, signs, original art, desk & display pieces, scale models, literature, books, signed items, advertising items, postcards mosaics, fine art, unique scarves/ties/shirts, etc.
DISPLAY SPACE: There are two types of display space available to accommodate your needs.
Table Top is exactly what it implies ... two 30" x 72" tables with cover, chairs, with 8' x 4' poster board back drop. The area is about 8' x 7'. Cost is $440.
The Vendor Display space is approximately 12' x 10' and will have large, permanent wall space behind [tape only, please] and floor space to display items; 3 tables, chairs, etc. will be provided. Cost is $750. These spots are on the perimeter of the room.
Optional phone hook-up, special display cabinets, etc. will be available for rental. The entire area is well illuminated. If you have special needs, please advise and we will do whatever we can to assist.
ADVERTISING: This event is being promoted heavily via print, email, newspapers, the web, etc. Display ads and "Event" notices will alert customers about the event in advance in major international automotive magazines. Vendors will receive quantity of postcards for mailing to advise their respective clients.
SECURITY: There will be someone in the hall during non-sale hours to provide security. The room will be locked at all entry points.
SPECIAL NOTE: A portion of the admission fee [only $15 per day or $20 for both days] will be contributed to charity [Monterey Rape Crisis Center]. There will be a "silent auction" and vendors are asked [NOT required] to consider donating one item. Also, please be sure that materials offered/displayed for sale are not "offensive".
COST: The Vendor Display is $750 and the Table Top is $440. This is for 2 days (not each day), and includes admission for two people. Space reservations must be paid in advance; DEADLINE IS March 1, 2016. Please ... no "sharing" of spaces. Priority given to returning vendors who have first renewal rights for last year's space. You are encouraged to sign up promptly to assure fine placement. Space is extremely limited with most commitments already in place. Only your check, drawn in US dollars on a US bank will secure your spot. For foreign vendors, we are able to accept VISA or MasterCard to expedite payment.

This event will benefit the Monterey Rape Crisis Center via a portion of the quite reasonable daily admission fee as well as a silent, donated auction.
